Early Birds Get The Best Spots!EARLY BIRD CAMPING: Early Birds get the best spots! As usual, there will be early arrival allowed again this year starting at 4pm on Thursday, July 16, 2009. Fees for car and driver are $20 ($10 for car and $10 for driver). Each additional person over 10 years old, is $10. Early Bird fees are paid at gate and is first come, first served. Please note that same camping regulations apply for early arrivals. The gates open to the public beginning at 12:00pm on Friday, July 17. Early bird camping requires 3-day ticket. We had twice as many entries as in previous years and all made for a lengthy deliberation period. We really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and hope that all you of you, finalists or not, will come out to support this up-and-coming talent and enjoy Horning's Hideout serene surroundings and the Pacific Northwest's premier acoustic music festival.

Taarka & Abalone Dots Added!We are STILL adding bands to this year's festival! Now included in the NWSS 2009 lineup is Taarka and the Abalone Dots (all-woman string band from Sweden). Burle, as you may or may not know, is a wordsmith who has been a friend of YMSB for a LONG time. Another new lineup addition is the triumphant return of Greensky Bluegrass. It doesn't stop there!
