The Yonder Hall of Fame began as a category in the annual year end Yonderpoll, a fan run poll started in 2001 where Kinfolk can vote for their favorite songs and shows of the year. Over the last ten years The Hall of Fame category acknowledged those people who have made important contributions to both the success of the band and to the Kinfolk community. At this years String Summit, the Hall of Fame will be officially acknowledged by the band, and all previous inductees will be honored, including this year’s inductee, the inspirational Lilli Trippe.

NWSS Cascadia Coffeehouse Acoustic Stage Schedule
Centrally located on the festival grounds, Cascadia Acoustic Coffeehouse provides a tranquil setting by the creek for a brief respite from festival life. Featuring the best sustainable, local, and fair-trade products that Northwest Oregon has to offer, Cascadia Acoustic Coffeehouse serves a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, baked goods, and brunch snacks. In the morning and early afternoon, enjoy a Marley coffee and Voodoo Doughnut in the shade by the creek while listening to local and regional acoustic talent and special seminars/workshops. The Coffeehouse itself, built by volunteers and our friends at the Rebuilding Center exclusively using used materials, will transform into the center for late-night entertainment with special performances by a host of Oregon and Colorado pickers. Welcome to the Pacific Northwest. Welcome to Cascadia.

In years past, Tyler Fuqua Creations has brought eye-poping visuals to the NWSS in the form of Jurassic butterflies, an army of illuminated jellyfish, and last year’s shiny Robot trio. Well, this year will be no exception! Being the 10th anniversary of this wonderful festival, Tyler Fuqua Creations is going to do it right with a spectacular Saturday night performance as well as adding some magical flair around the venue.
Check out www.tylerfuquacreations.com to see how you can volunteer to be part of the magic!
Greetings Summiteers and Festivarians,
My name is Scott Loeber (crew member for Yonder Mountain String Band) and I would like for you to check out the following video for St Baldricks. We are going to have a fund raiser to shave my head and honor our great friend Lilli Tripp. So in the spirit of Hornings and Summit, let’s raise some cash, have some fun doing it and shave the hippie for an extraordinary cause.
Thanks-Peace and see y’all there!
Party Party
Exciting additions to the Cascadia Coffeehouse and Acoustic Stage!
For those of you coming to String Summit from afar, you may have heard about Portland’s legendary Voodoo Doughnut on the Travel Channel’s Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations, Man v. Food, or in the season finale of the 13th season of The Amazing Race or perhaps even on the Simpsons! This year, Voodoo visits Horning’s as part of the Cascadia Music Alliance’s Cascadia Coffeehouse and Acoustic Stage.
In the morning or early afternoon, come grab a caffeinated beverage, doughnut, or bagel and take a seat at one of our tables by the creek, under the shade of the forest canopy, while listening to great acoustic entertainment from Oregon and Colorado. Then we’ll re-gather for special late-nights after main stage music ends. Artists include Fruition, Sugarcane, 4 on the Floor, Left Coast Country, The Scrugglers, and the Dust Settlers, and more! Schedule and more details to follow.
